The plaque being presented to Mr.AVR Chowdary by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr.Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Mutt.

The coffee table book (with a customized cover for Mr.AVR Chowdary) being presented on the occasion.

With a recorded history much farther than 1200 BC, South India has produced many achievers, from the great king Raja Krishndevaraya amongst dynasties in the yesteryears to the learned leaders like Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in the Independence era to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam in present days, the list has been a very long one. The hardworking South Indians have been the force behind the development of a vast area of the South East Asia. The major languages spoken in this region are the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

However the achievers listed in our book do not suffice to this. Some of the personalities included in this coffee-table book are the natives of this Southern region of Indian Territory but they have made a niche for themselves and their state of origin across the world. The book also features personalities who have made mark leaving their native places across the world and made South India their workplace. With their passion and toil they have made their Karn Bhumi (Land of work) develop many folds.

It features interesting reminiscences, anecdotes of struggle, navigating despite head-winds, during the journey to fructify the vision of the determined lot that dreamt big and got there. Several of these have the earnest desire of developing their region by investing their resources and efforts while there are many who have been ‘giving back to the society’ doing tremendous welfare work to improve the socio-economic conditions of the poor and the downtrodden.

This coffee-table book “Jewels of South India – Leading & Emerging Global Personalities” is a salute to such South Indian achievers who have inspired the world by working hard, sticking to principles and staying determined to achieve the unachievable. The coffee-table book is an effort to convey the success stories of such eminent personalities across the world. This compilation takes you through the experiences, the nerve with which the life changing decisions taken intiutively were executed by these spirited individuals. These narratives would serve as examples for the young ones to perk up for betterment of themselves, as also of the society at large. The essence of this coffee-table book is to serve as a beacon of hope and confidence.

The inspiring life story of such people would be more than the corporate tale. Like our many other publications, this coffee-table book would also focus on the personal sections of these achievers, thus telling the world “Rome was not built in one day”.
