About the Founder
A native of Vijayawada and an alumnus of BHU and BIT Mesra, AVR Chowdary spent over 20 years with one of India’s leading public sector enterprises before founding G&C Global in 2004.
His own journey shaped the founding idea of G&C : that professionals and families need disciplined, well-evaluated real-estate opportunities to build durable long-term wealth.
Over the last two decades, he has led G&C Global from real-estate advisory into development, while speaking extensively on Indian real estate for investor and NRI audiences.
He has been recognised by the Times of India as a Game Changer of Andhra Pradesh, conferred the International Entrepreneur of the Year by the Akkineni Foundation of America, and recognised for his contribution to the Telugu diaspora in the US by Nassau County, New York.
He has also been invited to speak by major Indian diaspora organisations including TANA, NATS, ATA and AKKA and has been part of Indian business delegations abroad, including a panel address on Smart Cities at the House of Lords, London.

After more than two decades in Bangalore, AVR Chowdary and his wife & co-founder Gouthami Atluri, moved permanently to live in Alakananda RiverFront, G&C’s flagship development.
Not as a marketing gesture, but as a reflection of our long-term commitment to the land, the community and the standard of upkeep we expect from ourselves.
That decision says more about our commitment than any claim could.
Founder AVR Chowdary recognised as “Jewels of South India” during the 14th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas co-organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, at Bangalore in 2017.
Mr.AVR Chowdary was conferred with the prestigious “Udyog Ratan” award by the Delhi Telugu Academy, presented by Shri.Jasti Chelameswar, former judge of the Supreme Court of India.
